I absolutely love this digital photo frame! I bought this for my mother who is in a nursing home and has limited space for displaying photos or keeping mementos from the past. For the past week I have been formatting and uploading photos from our side of the family, gathering photos as we can from the past decades. After I am finished, my sister will upload photos from her family... from the past decades. You do have to format the photos to fit the 1024x600 dimensions, and not all look good in those proportions, but 90% look fantastic, with the display being very bright and very clear.

There is more than enough room (2 gigs!) to hold everything, including photos from the early 1920's that we have scanned. You can format and organize everything first on your computer, then with the use of the USB cable connect your computer and the frame and upload everything in minutes. It works like a hard drive, so if you label your folders and photo names appropriately, they will... Read more

Fabulous picture quality and the 10 inch screen makes it easy to see pictures even from across the room. Simple but elegant black frame fits into most decors and you can turn off all the sounds for unobtrusive viewing. Supports all the formats we use with our Canon camera and Panasonic video. We are very happy with this Sony.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my parents. They do not have a computer. I wanted to pre-load the frame with pictures of the grandkids. My goal was to get a frame that is easy to use, has a large screen, and large internal storage. My only other experience with a digital frame is with an older model Westinghouse that was rather inexpensive and difficult to use. Pictures are gorgeous on the Sony frame. The frame is easy to load, I loaded it both from a computer through the USB cable and directly from my dad's camera memory card. I even loaded pictures from my sister's old digital camera without any issues. Even old scanned photos look great. The remote control is also easy to use. I did not try a lot of the other features since I was just interested in the photo frame capabilities. The speaker is decent and the pre-loaded music is not too bad. The only issue that I had was trying to load video. The frame played video from an old Sony photo camera without any... Read more
