This book is detailed, but succinct enough to give you the essential information to get started. It's written in clear straightfoward language that beginners can understand, with enough in depth information to satisfy the techies. Most other books on underwater photography focus on film and are somewhat dated- not this book- it's focus is digital photography, with a passing nod to film. I read this book just before taking a dive trip to Maui, and found the information extremely helpful. I highly recommend it! 17 of 20 people found the following review helpful: By Lorna Doone (Toronto, Canada) - See all my reviews This review is from: Master Guide for Underwater Digital Photography (Paperback) This book is great for someone who already has a solid background in digital photography and just wants to take that skill to another level with underwater photography. The book is valuable to both the amature and the professional photographer, and it discusses both digital point and shoot, and DSLR cameras. It answered all my questions and got me going in the right direction. Highly recommend this book. 14 of 17 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Master Guide for Underwater Digital Photography (Paperback) This book is fairly new and deals some modern issues. It discusses film, point and shoot, and dSLR techniques; however it leans more toward the P&S cameras. Very well written and structured. It is a pleasant overall read and also a very adept guide book. Definitely a must have! |
